Kamalame Bark & Leaves

The Kamalame plant is also commonly known as, Gumbo limbo, and is scientifically known as Bursera simarouba. This tree is found on all islands of The Bahamas. The leaves are traditionally used in teas for rheumatism, in baths for back pains, to treat circulatory problems as well as in strengthening and aphrodisiac tea.
