Step Inside the Story
Walk the production floor. Explore the farm. Taste handcrafted spirits. A guided journey from raw botanical to bottle—right here in Nassau.
What You'll Experience
A Tour in Four Chapters
Each stop reveals a new layer of the story. Approximately 60–90 minutes from welcome to final sip.

Where it all begins
The Welcome
Your guide greets you at the tasting counter with the founding story—how Juan and Andy Fowler asked a simple question: what if spirits were named after the very plants they come from? That curiosity became the heartbeat of Bahamas Botanicals.

Touch, smell, discover
The Botanicals
Step into the cool storage room and see the raw botanicals up close. Your guide passes around dried cascarilla bark—slightly spicy, herbal, and rich. Jars of guava, sapodilla, and soursop line the shelves. Each one inspected, catalogued, and stored below 70°F to preserve its natural character.

From plant to spirit
The Transformation
The air shifts as you enter the production floor—faint notes of fruit and spice. Stainless-steel tanks hold botanicals at various stages of maceration. Then the gleaming copper-and-steel distillation column comes into view. Your guide explains how vapor rises, carrying essential oils through copper that smooths and refines every flavor.

Blending, bottling, perfecting
The Craft
Watch blends come together drop by drop—purified rainwater from the distillery roof bringing each spirit to its final strength. Then the bottling line: rinsing, filling, sealing, labeling. From liquid to label, entirely Bahamian. In the lab next door, every batch is tested before it earns its place on the shelf.

The Finale
The Tasting Counter
The tour concludes at our tasting counter, where the raw botanicals and the distillation process finally come together in the glass. We invite you to taste our complete portfolio of six handcrafted spirits.
Sample the fruit-forward Islands & Cays Collection alongside our three Botanical Digestifs. Take your time, breathe in the aroma, and experience the distinct character of The Bahamas.

The Farm
Full Circle
The final stop brings the story back to the land. Walk through landscaped rows of dilly, guava, cocoplum, and mango—the fruits that inspire our collections. Just beyond them, the botanicals: cascarilla, featherbed, sweet Margaret, and five fingers.
Each plot is labeled with the plant’s name, phytochemicals, and traditional uses in Bahamian bush medicine. It’s a living classroom—where you can see, touch, and smell the very botanicals that ended up in your glass.
The farm is maintained by Ms. Forbes, a dedicated steward of Bahamian agriculture whose hands-on experience ensures every plant reflects the same care and authenticity that define the spirits.

“These spirits don’t just taste like the islands—they’re made of them.”
