Guava Leaves

Guava or as it is scientifically known, Psidium guajava, is a medium size tree that bears a sweet edible fruit with small seeds. The fruit can be used in Juices and cocktails and is used in a traditional Bahamian pastry, guava duff. Its primary traditional uses include the digestion and gastroenteritis and dehydration. Other reported uses include treatment of gastroenteritis, dysentery, stomach pain, diabetes mellitus, and wounds.
