Our Philosophy
Follow the Farmer
If you drink wine, you often know the plant, the name of the grape, the country and village of the farm. But if you drink a spirit, do you know all of these ingredients?
Juan wanted to change that. He wanted to bring the farmer and the ingredient back into the story of spirits. Every bottle of Bahamas Botanicals is named after the very plant or fruit it comes from—so you immediately know what’s inside and where it began.
Each bottle you take home supports Bahamian farmers and helps grow the local agricultural and craft-distilling industries.
“What if spirits were named after the very plants they come from?”
— Juan, Co-Creator
No Shortcuts
Careful control over how and when sugar is applied. No artificial flavoring. Just the pure essence of Bahamian botanicals, extracted with patience and precision.
Locally Sourced
Ingredients are sourced from Bahamian farmers—from farms, forests, and shorelines across the islands. Real plants. Real people. Real islands.
Craft Over Mass
Small-batch production, locally sourced botanicals, and a focus on quality over quantity. Everything is designed to feel genuine and rooted in place.
